Adam Pickos
Santa Rosa Beach, FL
The capstone of Adam’s 2007 season was scoring over 10,000 points in Tricks on his 16th birthday, becoming the youngest person in history to surpass that mark. Not even his dad could equal that feat. During the Under 21 Team Trials, he ran personal bests in every event on his way to securing a berth on Team USA and the right to represent his country at the U21 World Championships in Santiago, Chile. At the 2007 Nationals, Adam captured another Gold Medal in the Trick event while placing 5th in Jump and a strong 3rd Overall. Another highlight of his year occurred when Adam competed alongside his dad, legendary trick skier Cory Pickos, at the 2007 MasterCraft US Open. Adam is looking forward to 2008, with his eye on another Jr US Masters, Jr US Open, and National Trick title along with making the Junior US Team that will be competing at the Junior World Championships in Peru. Adam trains with his dad, sister Alexis, Regina Jaquess, and Javier Julio at the Pickos World Ski Center in Santa Rosa Beach, Florida. He is sponsored by MasterCraft Boats.
