Important Changes for All Scorers

New WSTIMS features for 2008

The overview of the process is essentially unchanged from prior years. A sponsor (or their registrar or scorer) would use their Tournament ID and Edit code to sign onto the USA Water Ski Admin website (linked from SWIFT), and then request a registration download from there, in a similar fashion to previous years.

The first area of change involves the selection specifications. The 13 Canadian provinces have been removed from the state list, and instead Canada will now be included if you check the "Foreign" box. In addition, we have also added an "Open/Elite" selection option, which will cause the inclusion of ALL members having one or more scores in the Ix or Ox divisions, regardless of their address. This latter feature will be of big help to major tournaments which draw from the higher echelons of skiers without respect to geography.

Next, the section of the resulting Excel template that previously had contained Rating codes, will now be populated with the Ranking Level code for this skier for their Division, in each of the events for which they have scores. In addition to the Ranking Scores themselves which are still included, this will aid those sponsors creating proficiency-graded competition groupings.

Finally, a perennial problem for many users has been finding the "strays" -- members that don't show up in the geographic selection that has been chosen for a registration template. Rather that you having to go in and pull additional templates for other areas (as many have done in the past), we now offer you the ability to look up specific individual members, in a fashion so that you can simply copy and paste their information into your existing Registration spreadsheet.
